This adventure film presents the space age "Crusoe", Kit Draper (PAUL MANTEE), as a U.S. astronaut stranded on Mars, and his struggle for survival in that alien atmosphere without oxygen, food or water. How Draper overcomes these difficulties, his meeting with an alien "Friday" and his exploration of the planet Mars makes for a fascinating and thrilling motion picture.
